My goal is to provide every client with an arrangement of their product that will produce the greatest impact possible, and satisfy their marketing needs.
I’m entering my 12th year of this adventure called food styling. It was a crap shoot at the beginning because I didn’t have a culinary degree and I don’t call a big city my home but my background in graphic design and my love of food has served me well, helping me see the subject from a design perspective as well as an organic one. Food styling has allowed me to combine two of the things I love the most – art and food.
If you ever meet me you’ll quickly find out that one of the best things to happen to me a few years ago was being diagnosed with food allergies. It forced me to examine the importance of diet on my health and change my way of cooking. I spent years playing with alternative ingredients, revising recipes and relearning how to make my favorite meals sans allergens. Although that time was difficult, these skills have benefitted me both in my home and in the food styling world by writing, editing and improving recipes for clients and myself. I am available for recipe development if you’re product has an emphasis on natural health and real food.
It is my pleasure to be in a profession that finds and creates beauty with food. Few subjects can rival the impact of dish that is professionally styled. My goal is to provide every client with an arrangement of their product that will produce the greatest impact possible and satisfy their marketing needs.
If you’re looking to hire me for some food styling work then shoot me a line or give me a ring. I’d love to hear from you and chat about possibilities.
